tudore asked: Thanks, and since you mentioned 'trial and error,' what would you call your greatest pokemon mistake (barring trusting an airline who shall go unmentioned)?
Well by trial and error I just meant- trying out different battling styles and movesets and seeing what worked for me. I’m replacing my Venomoth, as much as I like the Veno family- because while it was serviceable, it was clearly the weak point on my team. I had other “weak” pokemon on there- Stantler and Probopass- but Venomoth didn’t have an exceptional stat like Probopass or a particularly effective strategy like Stantler. I’m replacing him with Volcarona, because it fills my “moth” need, and I used one in my first Black run and really liked it. Powerful as hell but not so powerful that it sets off my “its kinda cheap to use this” alarm.
I also don’t like to use strategies I learned on the Internet without changing up the movesets and customizing in some way. My Charizard strategy is basically a “Bellyzard” variant, but one that works better for me personally and I think has sort of a more interesting, surprising moveset. THE MORE YOU KNOW………
god listen to me talking about pokemon, you can literally hear my chances of ever getting laid again drain away. Amazing!!!!
